The Jennie gowan memorial art show
The Jennie Gowan Memorial Art Show is held annually in early summer. The show was established in honor of Jennie Gowan, a founding member and tireless advocate of the Edisto Art Guild. Dee Mosley wrote: “Her generous personality, wisdom in leadership, and never tiring work for the guild set a wonderful example for all of us to follow”. After her death in 2002, the Jennie Gowan Memorial Art Show was established as an annual event in her honor. This is a juried exhibition open to all members of the Edisto Art Guild.

The 2024 Jennie Gowan Art Show will be held on May 18 and 19, 2024. Check our Calendar of Events for more information and updates.
The show traditionally exhibits a variety of mediums. Painting, ceramics, sculpture, artists, books, and photography are all represented.
All members of the Edisto Art Guild are invited and encouraged to participate!
